How do I transfer my NextGen UBE score?

Examinees who take the bar examination in a jurisdiction that has adopted the NextGen Uniform Bar Examination (NextGen UBE) earn portable scores that can be used to seek admission in other NextGen UBE jurisdictions that accept NextGen UBE score transfers. Use NextGen UBE Score Services to

Transfer My NextGen UBE Score to a Jurisdiction

NCBE automatically reports your NextGen UBE score to the jurisdiction in which you took the exam. To have your certified NextGen UBE score sent to a jurisdiction other than the one in which you took the exam, request an Official Bar Exam Score Transcript. If you have taken the bar exam in multiple jurisdictions or multiple times, the transcript will include a full history of your NextGen UBE and/or legacy UBE scores, as well as MBE scores earned during the last seven years (when authorized by the testing jurisdiction).

To request an Official Bar Exam Score Transcript, log in to your NCBE Account or create an NCBE Account if you do not have one, go to the Score Services page, and select Request Bar Exam Score Service.

Official Bar Exam Score Transcripts are sent directly to jurisdictions, not to examinees. If you would like to review your scores, visit the Unofficial NCBE Exam History page of your NCBE Account or request an Unofficial Bar Exam Score Transcript.

Fee

A $30 fee is required for each Official Bar Exam Score Transcript.

Time Frame

Ordinarily, score services requests are processed the next business day after receipt of payment. Scores will not appear on transcripts until after the testing jurisdiction has announced its examination results and authorized release of the examinee's scores.
