Cancelling your appointment. If you are unable to test during the administration for which you registered, you can cancel your appointment and receive a partial refund. You can cancel your appointment in your online Pearson VUE account or by contacting Pearson VUE by telephone at 888-205-1855. You must cancel your appointment at least 48 hours prior to the first day of the test administration to receive a partial refund. Your registration cannot be transferred or extended to another administration of the MPRE. If you have a scheduled appointment and are later approved for new or additional accommodations you will need to cancel your appointment and receive the partial refund, await a new Authorization to Test email from Pearson VUE which completely and correctly lists your approved accommodations, schedule a new test appointment, and pay a new test fee in order to test with those accommodations. NCBE encourages candidates NOT to begin the registration process until an accommodations determination has been posted to their NCBE Account File Cabinet and they no longer plan to appeal or request reconsideration.
